I was wondering if anyone woul...Sharp observations. I was wondering if anyone would ever talk about the social rights movements of the 80s. Rather than it being issues of the individual, it was activism on behalf of others who couldn't do it for themselves. I was in NYC at the time, part of GMHC. It was amazing to see ActUp rise as a voice, to go to Philly and be part of LiveAid (I still don't know how I got there, but it was the 80s), to watch Apartheid and the Berlin Wall fall.
